4.1 The Company operates mainly on Oil Drilling Vessels Offshore and in Shipyards in the United Kingdom, Europe or Overseas.
4.2 Both directors are responsible for negotiating and managing the contracts undertaken by the company together with related engineering and manpower requirements. Larger contracts have an on-site presence.
4.3 They are assisted in the larger undertakings by a general foreman with responsibilities for overseeing all general areas of a contract and several foremen as required to manage specific areas of the contract.
4.4 General offshore repairs, maintenance and renewals are normally carried out by Electrical Technicians overseen by senior members of the workforce.
4.5 The general non-electrical running of the business is carried out at the registered office and is the responsibility of the Company Secretary who deals with wages, purchase and sales ledgers, financial record-keeping and compliance with government legislation.
4.6 Assistance is also provided in the booking and advising staff of flights, accommodation, training courses, medicals, check-in times and other general matters. Where necessary, materials are ordered for delivery or redirection to the appropriate operational sites.
